We have a good Heavenly Father, who turns us into royalty with Jesus so we can live our lives reflecting his servant kingship to the world.
2 Timothy 2:11-13
Die with Him; live with Him
I am sure we have all had death knocking at our door in one way or another, literal or even circumstantial. I have had both – life of a drug addict… but i have also experienced life in his presence.
In Christ, what was once dead, now has life and life to the fullest
Endure with Him; reign with Him
Once a king, always a king
Read the story about Micaiah the Prophet. A story of a king not living out his legacy.
We can stand in confidence of who heavenly father says we are, not what our circumstances say
Deny him; He will deny us
This is not a threat, it’s a promise! Because our Heavenly Father is faithful.
You can’t earn his faithfulness, but you can deny it. – the two thieves crucified with christ is a great example of this.
Draw near to God and he will draw near to you
If we are faithless, He remains faithful
Because he cannot deny himself. You matter to him, because he matters to you. Just accept that he is doing great things, through you and with you.
You are doing this… therefore, if it matters to you; it matters to him. Let’s proclaim this in our lives, because we have a faithful father, who is good, merciful and loving!
